Vienna!

Hey, I just got back from a great 4-day trip to Wien (Vienna), and I got a bunch of great pictures. Here they are:

Matt, Charles, Dana and Rebekah at the bus stop for the airport bus in Berlin at 5am

The Westend City Hostel; our home for the weekend

The gang eating some Vanille Krapf'n (Vanilla Bismarcks)

Matt and I across from the Volkstheater (People's Theater)

Das Rathaus (City Hall) during the day

Typical Wiener (Viennese) statue

Part of the Hofburg Palace at sunset

Dana, Ann and Rebekah at a bar

Charles, Matt and I across the table

Waiting for the Subway

3rd largest Ferris Wheel in the world

The Prater fairgrounds

Fairgoers spinning high above the ground

Käsekrainer, aka Cheese-filled Sausage. Enough said

Traditional, Wiener restaurant from the back patio

The Vineyards behind the restaurant

Cheesy Cream of White Asparagus Soup, served in a delicious Rye Bread Bowl

Das Rathaus at night from the side of the front

TV tower

In front of the Donau River

Picnic on the river

Cool lighthouse

More cool statues

Ann upset, after the waiter was impolite, and then brought her her baked potato a half an hour after everyone else's meal

Yellow roses outside Schönbrunn Palace

Outside Schönbrunn

On the side in front of Schönbrunn

Rebekah and Ann in front of Schönbrunn

Holding up a huge building with only one hand

The gardens there were really pretty

Schönbrunn from the inside

The clouds were picturesque all day long

Pretty sweet fountain

Sometimes I take artsy pictures

In front of a very maternal fountain

If they had turned around, this could have been an album cover

The sky is a river in this picture

They had fountains like this all over the place. Schönbrunn translates to "Pretty Fountain," so I guess that makes sense

Vienna is a pretty city, especially from Schönbrunn

You can see the storm cloud creeping up behind us

Very elegant

Another cool view of the same building

Merman riding some sort of Merhorse

I accept this challenge

Now I really feel like I'm in Labyrinth

All 3 mazes were very cool

Ann did it!

I wish this place was my backyard

Hmm, what could that be?

It could be awesome!

Dana playing a retro version of DDR

Doing my best to resist making a tasteless blowing-things-out-of-proportion joke

Simply tranquil

Das Rathaus before sunset

Great dinner at a wonderful Palatschinken (Stuffed Crêpes) restaurant

Best Gelato I've ever had, at Zanoni & Zanoni

Well, that was Vienna, hope you liked it
